COMPASS is an EU funded project of the LifeLongLearning Program. Its chief aim is to spark the interest for mathematics and science in students. It aims to support teachers to develop lessons that connect science and mathematics with each other and most crucially with the lives of their students.

The teaching units use a problem oriented, inquiry based approach and set focus on critical argumentation and reflection on the basis of the results of students’ inquiries, by giving them reality-based, interdisciplinary tasks that show them how these topics relate to the real world.
