The University of Exeter is the leading research-led university in the South-West peninsula of the UK.

Exeter’s Graduate School of Education is one of the largest and best known in the UK, embracing a considerable variety of internationally recognised research activity, from large-scale externally funded programmes (including the FP7 Science Education for Diversity and Metafora projects) to small-scale collaborations with local teachers. The School was rated in the top five for educational research in the UK in the 2008 UK Research Assessment Exercise.
